Part‑time Admissions Group Visit Leader
Sidwell Friends School, a coeducational Quaker day school, seeks a seasonal part‑time Admissions Group Visit Leader to work with the Admissions Department. Seasonal Role
Runs from early October through mid‑to‑late January. Overview
Assists the admissions office in hosting 90‑minute visits for Pre‑Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants. Group Visit Leaders manage the observation and interactions with about ten applicants at a time. Visits typically occur three mornings a week, and, for this year, may also run Saturdays. Responsibilities
Prepare the visit space with age‑appropriate materials, welcome children, and reassure parents. Manage a component of the visit—free play, story time, circle time, snack, and the GES. Contribute to the group‑visit evaluation form, describing each child’s participation when the visit concludes. Be on campus from about 8:30 am until at least 11:30 am. Participate in committee meetings as recommendations for admission are made in February. Qualifications
Experience in childcare or early childhood education programs. Ability to work with diverse young children (ages 3‑4). Compensation
