Job Description Bus Driver -
Sycamore Community Schools
Job Summary:
To safely drive a school vehicle transporting students to and from school, sporting events and educational activities.
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age with five years of licensed driving experience.
May not have more than two (2) points on drivers abstract.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Current Commercial Driver's License required.
Must be physically capable of handling students if incapacitated.
First aid training and CPR certification recommended.
Meets all requirements as outlined in Ohio Administrative Code.
Working Conditions 4.33 hours/day (7-9 AM, 2:30-4:50 PM), 188 days/year
Application Procedure Apply online at the Greater Cincinnati School Application Consortium. Applicants that are offered positions shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCII criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based on the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the district.
