Corporate Office Location Landscaping Department 420 S. Doolittle Road Edinburg, TX 78542 Description of Duties
Responsible for maintaining the landscape around the water plants and facilities to ensure that the grounds are orderly. Performs landscaping responsibilities including mowing, edging, weeding, and removal of brush (including shrubs and small trees if needed). Utilizes lawn maintenance machinery such as a lawn mower, riding mower, weed eater, or chainsaw. May use herbicides and insecticides as needed for weed and insect control. Participates in job-specific and corporate training programs. Complies with federal and state regulations, as well as corporate policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. A self-starting individual with a high school diploma and up to three months of related experience. Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions. Must possess a valid Texas Driver License and be insurable under the company's policy. Good judgment and discretion required. Flexible schedule between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., including occasional weekends. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, often in sun, and to lift/move items up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Noise level is generally loud. Preferences
3 or more months of relevant work experience preferred. Application
