Responsibilities

Understanding and practicing our mission, values, and objectives

Cuts, weighs, or measures ingredients according to provided instructions

Prevents the spoilage of ingredients through proper storage in designated containers and in designated area

Monitors the temperature of food and food storage areas

Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains cleanliness of work areas, surfaces, utensils, equipment, and dishes

Adheres to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant

Wash all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses

Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas

Qualifications

Ability to listen and follow directions

Ability to work well as part of a team

Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accountability

Ability to function well in a fast‑paced environment

Ability to lead and direct while cultivating a healthy and collaborative team environment

Job Expectations for All

Stand for prolonged periods of time and handle products, tools, paperwork, and equipment.

May be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment and requested to work with cleaning chemicals.

May inhale smoke from a wood burning cooker.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with a team.
