General Summary Our Food Service Team Members are responsible for the proper and efficient operation of the Food Service Station during their shift, within company policy. They help the shift contribute to increased profitability and growth of the store while ensuring our customers’ needs are met every step of the way.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing all fresh made‑to‑order food items
Maintaining self‑service food offerings, including coffee, fresh case items, dispensers, fountain machines, and condiment center
Loading product into fresh case as needed
Operating the cash register
Providing best‑in‑class customer service
Maintaining high levels of sanitation
Assisting in monitoring inventory levels for freshness and availability
Stocking: back‑stocking, filling condiments and supplies, and rotating product by received date
Customer Service
Providing the best customer experience to every customer
Greeting each customer with a smile and sincere greeting
Suggesting possible purchases and promoting specials
Assuming full responsibility for the execution of Nouria’s customer‑service program at the site level
Safety & Station Appearance
Minimizing safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers
Enforcing environmental and hazardous‑material regulations
Maintaining safety and security of the store and documenting any incidents
Managing the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store
Operating all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
Supporting the implementation of Nouria’s Safety and Health program
Promptly reporting workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses
Completing the new‑employee safety orientation procedure
Using required gloves, hat/visor, and apron
Qualifications
General safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
Product/production processes
Allergen and food‑safety awareness
Basic knowledge of product, production processes, and techniques for maximizing production
Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Awareness of sanitation and hygiene practices
Concern for safety of self and co‑workers and a responsible attitude
Physical Requirements
Maintaining physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of all store facilities
Performing other related duties as required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Ability to traverse and access all areas of the store
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Prolonged periods of standing
