JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN I
DEPARTMENT: AIRCRAFT INTEGRATIONS
REPORTS TO: AIRCRAFT INTEGRATION SUPERVISOR
CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT
JOB SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, responsible for performing the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/components
Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, In accordance with Electrical Drawings/schematics.
Ability to understand Redline processes while working closely with supervisor.
Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, IAW the electrical Drawing /schematics.
Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
0-2 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information, attention to detail.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually
Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.
High School diploma or equivalent.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A 620 certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.
Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
Ability to traverse manufacturing facility
