Minimum Position Qualifications

Ability to work independently

Ability to read shelf tags

Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired Previous Experience

Experience as a personal shopper, warehouse worker, stocking shelves, or cashier

Essential Job Functions

Select and gather products for customers' online orders, focusing on freshness and quality

Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders

Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars at pick‑up

Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards

Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick‑up

Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness

Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines

Receive orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones

Read and follow directions in order notes

Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen

Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond promptly

Retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations, verify accuracy, and load into vehicles

Process the orders through the POS system

Determine appropriate substitutions when items are out of stock

Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment

Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the e‑Commerce supervisor

Inspect equipment and notify the Pick‑Up supervisor of items needing repair

Perform required opening and closing procedures

Assist in training new e‑Commerce team members

Meet or exceed productivity standards

Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment

Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner

Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information

Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues

Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
