As a Housekeeper at the Sanderling Resort, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms, common areas, and other resort facilities.
Responsibilities
Clean and maintain guest rooms and resort spaces according to the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s). Promptly respond to guest requests, ensuring satisfaction and a positive experience. Maintain adequate supplies, linen, and materials, keeping inventory and replenishing when necessary. Safeguard and manage any assigned keys throughout the shift. Adhere to proper handling of cleaning supplies to ensure safety and prevent damage to hotel property. Notify the supervisor of any maintenance issues or special requests. Assist in preventive cleaning programs and other special assignments as required. Position Requirements
A strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but optional. Physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. *Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
