Are you enthusiastic about hospitality, people, and beautiful places? By working at Yellowstone National Park, you will get all three! As the Warehouse Assistant Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting the day‑to‑day administrative functions that keep the park running smoothly.
Job Summary These roles involve providing excellent guest service while efficiently managing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing products. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate inventory records, addressing discrepancies in vendor deliveries, and ensuring a professional work environment. Additionally, the role requires adherence to safety and environmental practices, as well as effective communication and teamwork with colleagues.

Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Early April 2026 to early November 2026
Pay: $18.00 hourly
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
Commit to providing exceptional guest service efficiently in all duties performed
Oversee the receiving, storing, and issuing of all products within the warehouse
Manage and file all necessary documents to support warehouse transactions effectively
Report discrepancies in vendor deliveries and warehouse inventory to the Purchasing Office promptly
Establish and maintain an efficient layout for the warehouse, adjusting as needed to optimize operations
Implement a "First In-First Out" (FIFO) system to ensure proper product usage and minimize waste
Foster positive communication and teamwork among all co‑workers, including warehouse staff and management
Ensure compliance with the Motor Vehicle Safety Program, including driver certification and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
Knowledge of management skills
Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
Knowledge of how to maintain accurate inventories
Knowledge of different products warehoused
Knowledge of proper rotation and storage techniquesl
Physical Requirements
Must meet all DOT physical requirements and pass a DOT physical exam (provided in the park)
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours
Must be able to walk for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours
Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 70 pounds
Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time
