The D ishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. The dishwasher works closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen (coffee makers, pots and pans, mixers, etc.)
Unload and store deliveries
Sweeping and mopping floors, especially if items are broken or spilled
Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans
Follow proper sanitation procedures per local health department regulations
R eport kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures
Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed
Requirements:
Possess an upbeat personality, a willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic
Maintain uniform standards when on job premises
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to verbally communicate in English
Ability to run and move quickly
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Be at least 18 years of age
Be able to pass a criminal background check
Be organized and have excellent time-management skills
