The Market in the Square is seeking a helpful, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Grocery / Dairy / Frozen Stock Clerk.

Responsibilities:
Proper stocking and rotation of grocery / dairy / frozen merchandise
Ensures cleanliness of grocery / dairy / frozen coolers and storage areas
Responsible for ordering and proper inventory control
Answer questions from customers about products in a professional manner
Assist customers with loading groceries into their vehicles when needed
Safely operating machinery, including, but not limited to, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks and carts

Strong attention to detail
Able to provide and receive constructive feedback
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1-2 years experience working in a Grocery Retail setting preferred
Physical Requirements:
Requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire workday
Requires working in coolers / freezers
Weekend and holiday work will be required; flexible hours
Qualifications:
Requires standing, walking, bending, and/or climbing throughout the entire workday
Repetitive arm and hand movements; bending, carrying, and lifting
Requires transferring product either horizontally or vertically of up to 50 pounds
Weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required; flexible store assignments and hours
Daily Schedule Flexible
Salary: $16.00 - 18.00 / hour, depending on qualifications and experience
