We’re Hiring Certified Flaggers!
Join our team to help keep traffic safe and flowing during construction projects.
Key duties include:
Setting up safety equipment such as cones and signs, directing vehicles and pedestrians using appropriate hand signals and flags.
Monitoring traffic flow and communicating with construction crews to relay any necessary information.
Certified flaggers must possess a flagger certification, be knowledgeable of state and local traffic regulations, and be able to perform their duties in varying weather conditions while maintaining a high level of situational awareness.
Certified flagger qualifications typically require:
Individuals to complete a training program approved by a recognized authority, which covers topics such as traffic control practices, safety protocols, and the proper use of flagging equipment.
Participants often learn about relevant laws and regulations regarding road work zones, as well as effective communication techniques for directing traffic safely.
Upon successful completion of the training, individuals may receive certification that is valid for a specified period, usually requiring renewal or re-certification afterwards.
Specific requirements can vary by state or agency, so it's important to check local guidelines.
How to Apply: Call our office to make an appointment where you will complete your application. Please bring
two valid original forms of identification
to meet I-9 Employment Authorization requirements. Please also bring any certification that is required.
