Overview
Teph Seal Auto Appearance, a privately‑held company, operates detail and reconditioning centers in auto dealerships across the United States. Positions available: Detail Specialist 1 – some experience; Detail Specialist 2 – two or more years of experience.
Responsibilities
Wash the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions.
Wax, buff, and apply preservation chemicals to protect surfaces.
Vacuum the interior to remove dirt and debris.
Clean upholstery, surfaces, and engine compartments, including removal of grease.
Use air compressors, cloths, and buffing machines as needed.
Working Conditions
Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and squatting.
Work outdoors and under varying climate conditions.
Handle vehicles repeatedly during shifts.
Use OSHA‑approved waxes and cleaners.
Push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs.
Communicate oral instructions clearly.
Maintain vision and hearing for quality inspection.
Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
Qualifications
1+ year of detailing experience.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to learn quickly and work as part of a team.
Reading and comprehension of instructions.
Respect and care for customers’ vehicles.
Reliability: arrive on time, stay on task.
Driving both automatic and manual vehicles.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
Compensation Flat rate – $16.00 to $20.00 per hour (dependent on experience and location).
