Electrical Technician – Food Manufacturing
Base pay range: $44.00/hr – $48.00/hr.
Location: Southern California – four production facilities supporting national retail and food service partners.

Technicians play a key role in keeping production running smoothly across a high‑volume environment that operates under tight quality, regulatory, and food safety standards. The company continues to invest heavily in equipment upgrades, automation, and preventive maintenance, making it an ideal fit for skilled professionals who want to be challenged and valued.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair 120V/240V/480V and medium voltage systems.
Calibrate, maintain, and repair instrumentation, including flow, temperature, pressure, and level transmitters.
Program, diagnose, and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, SCADA/HMI systems.
Interpret and work from electrical schematics, P&IDs, and NEC codes.
Maintain and troubleshoot MCCs, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and motor controls.
Support boiler/burner systems, pumps, and motor‑operated valves (MOVs).
Execute conduit/pipe layout, tubing, and bending as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance and upgrade projects.
Document work using CMMS systems and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on experience in industrial or food manufacturing electrical/instrumentation roles.
Strong working knowledge of PLC logic and control systems (Allen‑Bradley/Siemens).
Solid understanding of NEC, electrical safety standards, and medium‑voltage systems.
Ability to read/interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Ability to work independently or lead small teams during projects and shutdowns.
