Position An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant based at Arran War Memorial Hospital.

What You Will Do

Provide housekeeping and cleaning services within Clinical Support Services.

Assist with meal and beverage duties.

Use industrial cleaning equipment and maintain cleanliness to meet food safety standards.

Knowledge, Training and Experience Applicants should be physically fit, understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment, be flexible regarding areas worked within the hospital, and possess good communication skills. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment, an understanding of food safety standards or having worked in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.

Hours

30 hours per week on a permanent contract, 12:30 pm – 7:00 pm with a 30‑minute break.

Flexible rota allowing agreement of working days and times (between 7 am and 7 pm).

Consideration will also be given to job sharing.
