Lead the next generation of Alpine Athletes

Join our Alpine coaching team where environment delivers solid alpine surfaces, coaches deliver long‑term athlete development and inspire our alpine racers for generations.

As an experienced alpine coach, you’ll drive athlete development, lift training standards, and bring energy and professionalism to every session.

Work closely with our coaching team to deliver safe, structured sessions that build skill, confidence, and wellbeing, while contributing to a culture of excellence across our Alpine programs.

What You'll Be Doing

Deliver safe and engaging alpine coaching sessions on and off snow

Support athlete skill development, confidence, and wellbeing

Plan and set courses for training and competitions

Work independently while upholding high standards of safety and professionalism

Collaborate with coaches and the wider mountain team to ensure positive athlete experiences

Participate in ongoing professional development to sharpen coaching skills

What You'll Bring

Alpine coaching or instructor certification with race‑coaching experience

ACA (EL, DL, PL)

USSA (Level 100, 200)

ÖSV (D‑Trainer, C‑Trainer)

FISI (Allenatore I°, II°, III°)

ENSA/DEJEPS (Certificat Complémentaire Ski Alpin)

Other recognised international equivalents – see ISIA

Experience coaching Alpine athletes across skill levels

Ability to plan and run on‑snow and off‑snow training programs

Skilled in course‑setting for training and competitions

Strong understanding of long‑term athlete development and wellbeing

Excellent communication and leadership skills; fluency in English

Commitment to safety, professionalism, and a positive, high‑performance culture

How We Work Together Program Information: A variety of Winter Sports Program options exist across Perisher, Falls Creek, and Hotham. Successful applicants will be expected to assist the Snowsports School with instructing lessons outside of their assigned program hours. Coaches may be employed between 2 to 5 days per week, depending on program registrations and scheduling needs. Program registration remains open until June.

Certification Requirement: Uncertified (experienced) coach applicants may be considered but will be required to complete an APSI Instructor Certification. If required, the Snowsports School will cover course and exam fees. Associated costs, such as the APSI Manual and membership, will be the employee’s responsibility.

Employment Availability Coaches are employed casually, with full‑season options up to six days per week over Winter (June–September). Limited availability positions require minimum availability commitments and may require arranging your own accommodation. Minimum availability varies by resort.
