The primary responsibility of the Guest Room Attendant is to maintain clean and attractive rooms for the guests of Oxford Collection Hotels, ensuring timely and proper cleaning and sanitizing of guestrooms on a daily basis. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Guestroom Cleaning and Sanitizing (80%)
Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guestrooms, including pre‑clean duties, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup Perform vacuuming, dusting, mopping, linen changes, trash removal, and dirty linen handling Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed Perform deep cleaning tasks as required Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply carts daily Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets neat and clean Prepare the housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day’s use and report any guest‑borrowed items to the supervisor
Guest Relations (10%)
Deliver high‑level customer service, ensuring guests’ expectations are met Interact with and acknowledge guests Identify and resolve issues promptly Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity for both internal and external guests Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly manner Report lost and found items and maintenance issues timely
Other (10%)
Communicate effectively with all hotel staff to ensure smooth delivery of services Complete a daily activity log with pertinent shift information for co‑workers and leadership Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for scheduled shifts Other duties as assigned

Perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand/arm movements frequently Lift 50 pounds occasionally and exert up to 20 pounds of force to push, pull, carry, lift, or move objects Bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces occasionally Walk outside in various weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat) Climb stairs both inside and outside and lift 20 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally Equal Opportunity Employer
