Summary

Responsibilities include searching, pulling, preparing and staging customer files, video tapes and record storage boxes. Additionally, this position requires safe operation of assigned company vehicles, with diligent care and observation of state, federal and local road, speed and transportation laws as well as all relevant company delivery and driver policies. Requires adherence to VRC norms of compliance, vehicle tracking and monitoring and vehicle maintenance requirements.

Essential Functions

Work in the warehouse regularly to perform all required warehouse tasks and functions.

Drive vans or small box trucks to customer sites with customer deliveries or pick‑ups and other service needs as required.

Diligently report to work on time in a proper VRC uniform and be prepared to perform the duties of the position.

Achieve and exceed VRC department productivity goals and quality standards.

Receive, comprehend, and respond appropriately to directions, policies, and other safety and OSHA requirements.

Possess a friendly and outgoing personal nature to enable a positive working relationship with all customers.

All other duties to include projects, administrative requirements, training and clean‑up as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements

Has a disciplined, positive and respectful attitude toward all co‑works and management representatives.

Able to be flexible and adjust quickly to change in directions as customer needs change.

Works hard to be and remain well organized and detail oriented.

Able to work both in a team environment and as an individual contributor.

Able to follow all company policies and procedures, OSHA and DOT guidelines.

Focused, disciplined and self‑motivated.

Works well under pressure in short notice and time‑sensitive matters.

Excellent knowledge of Charlotte Metro areas and adjacent towns and able to use navigation devices and handheld scanners.

Can pass basic eligibility requirements, such as DOT Medical exam, background screening and a driver’s test.

Work Environment Must be able to tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to reach, handle, carry, and lift between 20 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, read, and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.

Education and Eligibility Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid State driver’s license

MVR Check

Background check

Must be able to pass random drug screens.

Must be able to carry a cell phone to be in constant communication with the Records Center.

Strong commitment to accuracy and quality.

Must be able to work overtime and weekends and all holidays as required.

Strong directional awareness and navigational skills.

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), is not required for this position.
