Elementary Math Tutor

Package & Pay Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $40.00/hr (based on skills and experience).
Payment is available up to twice per week, and rates can increase incrementally with repeat students, up to $40/hr.
About The Role As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform, you will:
Teach elementary math to students nationwide.
Set your own schedule and tutor as many sessions as you wish.
Use an AI‑powered Tutor Copilot for lesson generation and real‑time instructional support.
Deliver personalized instruction tailored to each student’s learning style.
How You Connect With Students
1‑on‑1 online tutoring: Provide individual instruction to a single student.
Instant tutoring: Accept on‑demand requests whenever you’re available.
Qualifications & Experience
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
Expertise in elementary math and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
Priority given to candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate‑level education.
Eligibility to contract (see exclusion list below).
