Assistant Food and Beverage Manager - Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square The Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join the leadership team. This position focuses on leading the team in the complimentary breakfast buffet for guests. Responsibilities

Assist in the management of all Food and Beverage operations, including guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls Assist in developing team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations and recognition Meet and greet guests, respond to inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely, friendly manner Monitor and address service and satisfaction trends and implement improvements Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members Qualifications

2 years minimum customer service experience, preferably within hospitality, food and beverage 2 years supervisory experience 3 years experience within food and beverage preferred Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments Experience writing schedules, managing inventory and placing orders, and record keeping Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Strong communication and mentoring skills Proactive, team-first mentality Previous experience managing in a union environment highly preferred Previous hotel and restaurant experience highly preferred Shift and Compensation

Shift Pattern: Mornings starting as early as 5:30 am, with flexibility for other shifts as needed Pay Rate: $32.00 - $34.00/hr depending on experience Benefits

As an Assistant Manager of Food and Beverage, you would be responsible for assisting in the daily management of activities and services of all hotel food and beverage operations (kitchens, restaurants, banquets, lounges, room service, coffee shops, etc.) to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
