Aerospace Quality Manager
to join our team in Shelby, NC. As the lead of the site quality function, you will manage daily operations, ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards, and continuously improve quality performance.

Responsibilities
Implement and maintain the site’s QMS (AS9100, NADCAP, PPG standards)
Ensure compliance with PPG and customer manufacturing & inspection requirements
Lead internal and external audits, support customer and regulatory audits, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions
Oversee nonconformance investigations, MRB activity, and RCCA implementation
Collaborate with site leadership to support daily production and ensure quality compliance
Provide technical quality support for manufacturing processes, new product introductions, and engineering changes
Promote continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce defects and scrap
Maintain quality documentation, records, and traceability for all site processes
Monitor quality KPIs and lead data‑driven problem solving and performance improvement
Support and develop site quality technicians, ensuring training and engagement
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field
Eight or more years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, ISO 9001, NADCAP, and quality system requirements
Experience leading audits, managing CAPA processes, and conducting root cause analysis
Proficiency with quality tools and techniques such as APQP, SPC, FMEA, control plans, and process audits
Experience with ERP or QMS software systems; QAD and ETQ Reliance a plus
