The Role As an Electronic Technician specializing in automatic door systems, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and repairing a variety of automated entry solutions in controlled environments. Your work will ensure compliance with safety standards and optimal system performance. This role involves interpreting technical schematics, using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters, and applying hands‑on expertise with specialized equipment and hand tools. You’ll stay current with industry advancements to support efficient troubleshooting and contribute to continuous improvement in system reliability and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Configure automatic door systems in a controlled setting, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing door systems to ensure optimal functionality.

Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Interpret schematics and technical instructions to assist in the installation and repair processes.

Conduct equipment repairs and perform diagnostic tests using tools such as an ohmmeter.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to automatic doors.

What You Will Need

Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar field service role, preferably with automatic doors or related equipment.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with low voltage systems.

Familiarity with computer hardware and networking concepts is a plus.

Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment for repair and maintenance tasks.

Excellent problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to read and interpret technical schematics effectively.

Certified Electronics Technician (CET) certification is a plus*
