What You’ll Receive

Salon Assistant Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
Perform shampoo and conditioning treatments for milk + honey guests.
Maintain laundry for the salon.
Perform a variety of cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, dishes, cleaning the bathroom, and taking out the trash.
Exemplify milk + honey’s Core Values in every interaction with guests and coworkers.
Adhere to all Attendance and Punctuality policies.
Present a polished and professional image at all times.
Be able to lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.

Work Hours and Compensation
Salon Assistants work a mixture of AM and PM shifts, including weekends and some holidays.
Compensation starts at $15 per hour.

Requirements
State Cosmetology License
Weekend and night availability is required
Ability to hear so as to effectively understand customer’s needs
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and remain attentive to guests’ needs
Ability to sustain reasonable physical activity for the duration of a scheduled shift
Sensitivity to unnecessary waste of product and a willingness to act to reduce waste
