We are hiring immediately for a full‑time and part‑time Sous Chef position at Florida Atlantic University, located at 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter, FL 33458. Online applications only.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm; Saturday – Sunday, 9:30 am – 8:30 pm (details discussed in interview).
Requirement: Previous cooking experience required.
Pay Range: $19.50 – $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary Assists the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking foods, coordinating the activities of cooks and other food‑service associates, and assumes responsibility for the kitchen and food‑service associates in the Executive Chef’s absence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards, ensuring deadlines are met.
Supervises hourly food‑service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and disciplinary recommendations.
Stores food in designated areas following all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils; cleans workstations before leaving.
Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to comply with all sanitation, safety, production and merchandising requirements.
Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately to associates and customers.
Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
Monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies; tracks consumption and waste.
Performs other duties as assigned.
