Fluence Labs is looking for highly motivated, career‑mindful nondestructive testing (NDT) professionals to join our team of experts. Responsibilities
Interpret digital radiographs.
Perform process control checks & statistical process monitoring.
Interface with vendors, tooling, and automation groups to define requirements and manage projects through delivery.
Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions.
Understand and debug hardware and software interactions.
Use field data to improve design and performance of NDE systems.
Core Competencies
Previously Certified CR/DR in accordance with NAS 410/SNT‑TC‑1A.
High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
+5 years NDT experience.
Works autonomously.
Good written, oral, and presentation skills.
Experience training NDT assistants.
Proficiency with different NDT data acquisition software.
Expertise interpreting 2D engineering drawings and model drawings.
High competence with industry standards (ASTM, ASME, AWS, etc.).
Preferred Skills
ASNT RT III.
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, physics, or computer science.
6+ years of hands‑on technical engineering experience.
Advanced manufacturing experience.
Castings.
EB Welds.
Explosion Bonding.
Composites.
Laser Welding.
Powder Metallurgy.
Knowledge of a variety of NDE techniques (ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, digital radiography testing, etc.).
Knowledge of industrial automation.
Experience with software and automation coding (LabVIEW, Python, C#, SQL).
Experience with POD studies.
Knowledge of statistical process controls.
Experience with root cause analysis.
Familiarity with JIRA or similar task/feature tracking systems.
Experience with quality systems (ISO 9000/AS9100/NADCAP).
Additional Requirements
Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends to meet critical deadlines when/if needed.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.
Must be willing and able to travel to customer sites on an as‑needed basis, ~100% travel required.
ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must meet at least one of the following: (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 USC 1157, (iv) asylee under 8 USC 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
