Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not‑for‑profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state‑of‑the‑art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB‑GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18‑bed emergency department serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same‑day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons‑verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai‘i. The Imaging department at Wilcox Health, recently named the Wilcox Family Imaging Center, is a full‑service department providing routine and specialized imaging and/or therapeutic procedures for inpatient, outpatient and emergency patients. The department is staffed seven days a week, 24‑hours‑a‑day. Board‑certified physician radiologists provide quality care and timely interpretation of radiographic procedures. Services provided include General Radiology (X‑rays), Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT or CT scan), Ultrasound, Digital Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear medicine, Echocardiography and Bone Densitometry.
Responsibilities
Safely and timely transport patients to and from assigned departments in a safe and professional manner, using a variety of transport modes.
Assist the File Clerk and Imaging Services Clerk as directed.
Provide outstanding patient care and communication skills, ensuring patients and staff are transported with friendly assistance, care, and safety.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card. Entry level.
Preferred qualifications:
High school or equivalent; one (1) year work experience with the public.
