Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term. Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $2,400.00 - $3,300.00 per course. Governors State University’s College of Education seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach School Counseling courses in the Division of Psychology & Counseling. At Governors State University, adjunct faculty are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Adjuncts are not a part of the faculty bargaining unit and are not included in membership of the Faculty Senate.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in School Counseling or School Psychology.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in Counseling and experience as a school counselor.
