Job Summary Under general supervision of the AVP of Facilities & Capital Projects, the incumbent is responsible for the full range of skilled work in painting, finishing, and maintaining a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. The incumbent is expected to perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The incumbent may also provide instruction and lead direction to unskilled and semi‑skilled assistants.
Responsibilities • Perform painting, finishing, and maintenance tasks on interior and exterior surfaces and structures.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Train and supervise unskilled and semi‑skilled assistants.
Required Education and Experience The knowledge and abilities listed above would normally be acquired through any combination of progressively responsible training and experience which demonstrates achievement of journey‑level skills equivalent to that acquired through completion of a standard painter’s apprenticeship program.
Preferences
Lead work experience.
Computerized maintenance management system experience.

Pay Plan 12/12
Work Schedule Mon‑Fri 6:00am‑2:30pm
Salary Range $64,260 (Step 1) – $93,612 (Step 20) per year.
