Position Summary We are seeking qualified assembly mechanics to install integrated system components such as engines, drives, HVAC, fuel, hydraulic systems, fire suppression, and more. Desired experience includes marine repair, maintenance, new construction, or comparable manufacturing environments.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities
Duties include installation of integrated system components including engines, drives, HVAC systems, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, fire suppression, and others.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have own set of tools.
Hydraulics and piping experience is a plus.
Familiarity with machining is a plus.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Capable of carefully following engineering drawings and procedures to perform equipment installations.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift, carry 60 lbs., or maneuver objects with mechanical means or additional manpower.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, kneel, twist, pull, push, grip, and climb.
Capable of working from ladders and scaffolding.
Citizenship This position requires U.S. citizenship due to a government contract.
