Line Cook . Executive Chef Charles Carroll is excited to add to his existing Culinary Team. You will report to the Executive Chef & Restaurant Chefs and will train under our Sous Chef Team to learn the various Club kitchen operations in A la Carte dining services.

Job Compensation: $18-20/hour. Excellent benefits, full-time hourly positions available, beautiful central location, free employee meals.

Responsibilities

Working knowledge of Banquet & A la Carte Kitchen Stations (Fry, Broiler, Sautee, Grill, Pantry)

Ensure all menu items are prepared and fresh prior to service

Serve items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards

Set up, maintain and break down service units and work stations

Requisition items needed to produce menu items

Adhere to state and local health and safety regulations; keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitary

Assist the Restaurant Chefs in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen

Follow Club appearance standards and personal cleanliness rules

Cover, date and properly stock all food production/stores left‑over products that are re‑usable

Follow Club’s menu recipes & procedures; consult direct supervisor before making any changes

Keep storage areas, walk‑ins and reach‑ins neat and clean daily

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years proven experience in a similar role at a Country Club, Hotel or Upscale Dining restaurant

Ability to work a flexible full‑time schedule based on Club business, including weekends & holidays

Clear written & verbal communication in English

Willingness to train & learn Club recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Working knowledge of food service software (FoodTrak preferred)

Valid Texas Food Handlers Certificate

Ability to multi‑task efficiently while remaining focused on executing multiple events simultaneously

Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs without assistance

Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods while maintaining a professional appearance in a clean uniform

Reliable transportation to commute to the club; good attendance required
