CATERING SERVICES DEPARTMENT Catering Assistant
Band 2 - £25,694 to £27,900 (pro rata)
Plus £1,406 Distant Islands Allowance (pro rata)
Permanent Post
19.73 hrs per week
Monday to Thursday, 2.50‑7.20pm Friday 3‑7.14pm
Responsibilities
Receiving, checking and issuing of catering stock
Restocking vending machines
Dishwashing, basic food preparation
Food service, counter service
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the department
Qualifications
A basic food hygiene certificate is essential to the post
Previous catering experience is an advantage
Good communication skills with a positive and flexible approach to work
