Your responsibilities Position Summary:

This is a 3rd shift position. Work with various equipment to assemble refurbished and new production slewing bearings. Promote continuous improvement by performing 6s, safety audits, TPM activities and creating programs that foster cost reductions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assembly and inspection on all models of slewing bearings and other necessary assembly work

Operation of required equipment (bridge crane, computer & programs, specialized hand tools, etc.)

Operate measuring equipment

Read and understand prints, work instructions

Perform torque tests and various clearance measurements

Work professionally with outside vendors and customers

Maintain equipment and tools to a proper working order

Perform 6s and safety responsibilities of work area

Perform safety audits

Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor

Skills & Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Previous machining experience and practices preferred. Blueprint and GD&T knowledge required.

Export Control:

This position requires access to export‑controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp’s ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
