Security Officer - Office Tower Patrol Unarmed

Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while responding to various situations. What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while maintaining a visible presence.
Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site procedures.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
Minimum Requirements
Six months or more of security‑related experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferable.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
