Fitness Specialist — Warrenton, VA
FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a top-caliber Fitness Specialist to join our growing team across the Warrenton/Gainesville/Haymarket/Manassas areas. Founded in 1998, FOX was the first private practice in the country to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for older adults. We help patients restore the quality of life they deserve through evidence-based, proactive treatment.
Responsibilities
Prescribe and manage exercise programs to maintain functional levels after patient discharge.
Receive support through leadership, clinical education, and an assigned Program Manager.
Travel routinely to patient residences and between senior living communities; expand territory and travel as required by practice needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology, or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized organization (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA).
Willingness to become a Certified Personal Trainer if not already certified.
Must hold CPR certification.
Prior experience working with older adults in a proactive wellness setting is preferred.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
