Receiving Clerk – Purchasing
Full Time, Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm. Location: New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
Description Responsible for maintaining daily stock of food and supplies in patient care areas in accordance with established par levels. Responsible for appropriate and accurate documentation of data for accounting purposes.
Responsibilities
Stock food and supplies for Floor Stock requisitions and Patient Service areas.
Handle food products according to proper food safety procedures.
Document all inventory and delivery data accurately.
Fill requisitions with correct quantities and requested products.
Deliver and store merchandise in the appropriate storage area, rotating product using FIFO.
Obtain unit staff signature at time of delivery.
Maintain and sanitize receiving and storage areas, including mobile equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Compensation Statement The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $24.60 – $26.46 per hour. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. This rate does not include bonuses, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
