The Kitchen Stewards primary responsibilities include deep cleaning all kitchens on JRCR property. Stewards will complete all daily work assigned by following the direction of their supervisory team and understanding and following departmental policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Deep cleans all kitchens on JRCR properties
The cleaning of filters, troughs, and drip machines on a daily basis.
Responsible for filtering deep fryer oils, cleaning and degreasing all floor mats, scrubbing kitchen floors, wiping down all hoods and related equipment, maintaining a sanitary kitchen at all times.
Operate steam cleaners for indoor and outdoor cleaning.
Perform a wide range of related duties as needed or requested by supervisor.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability necessary to work in a high volume environment.
Other duties may be assigned.
Education and Experience
Any combination of education and experience that could likely provide the required knowledge and skills is acceptable.
Pay range: $18.00 - $23.40 per hour.
Shift Differential
Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
This is not a smoke-free workplace. Although we employ air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is present in the work environment.
