Base pay range Garden Greens, LLC is a licensed New Jersey cannabis company dedicated to ensuring a safe, secure, and compliant environment for our staff, customers, and facilities. We are seeking experienced, professional Security Guards with active SORA licenses to join our team.
Responsibilities
Monitor facility access points and verify identification of employees, visitors, and vendors.
Conduct interior and exterior patrols to deter theft, diversion, and unauthorized access.
Enforce company security policies and state cannabis regulations.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or violations to management.
Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, and security-related incidents.
Provide professional customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
Support compliance with New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC) security standards.
Requirements
Valid New Jersey SORA license – required.
Minimum of 1–2 years of security guard experience (regulated industry preferred).
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Must pass a background check as required by NJ state cannabis laws.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in the cannabis industry or other highly regulated sectors.
Familiarity with surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
CPR/First Aid certification.
