Recreation Instructor- Kayaking City of Salida

The City of Salida Recreation department is seeking Kayak Recreation Instructors to join our team! The Recreation Instructor creates recreational programs, classes and activities and performs beginner to intermediate level instruction and guidance to participants. This position reports to the Recreation Supervisor and works collaboratively within the department and with other departments and organizations to comply with policies and procedures and instruct programs. This is a part-time position, 2-4 hours a week, from January 2026 - April 2026. Starting salary $18.00 - $32.00 hourly, dependent on experience and qualifications. This position includes a free individual pool pass to the Hot Springs Aquatic Center and discounts on recreation and aquatics programs and products.
