Job Summary Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen work areas to ensure orderly and sanitary conditions. Works on hand washing, rack loading, conveyor operation, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, wash by hand or place in racks or on conveyor for machine processing.
Wash pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures.
Polish silver using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or cloth as needed.
Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
Maintain chemical levels and temperature standards as provided.
Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
Wash work tables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
Remove trash and dispose of it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Assist in loading and unloading supplies and product.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior dishwashing experience preferred.
Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
