Math Teacher 25‑26 – Nebraska Department of Education
We are looking for a full‑time high school math teacher for the 2025‑2026 school year. Potential courses may include Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II.
Responsibilities
Teach math courses to high school students.
Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards.
Use educational technology to support learning.
Participate in a student‑centered, family‑and faith‑oriented community.
Engage in extracurricular activities, coaching, or club moderation as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Commitment to the mission of Gross Catholic High School (and Nebraska DE).
Strong rapport with students, parents, teachers, and staff.
Basic understanding of educational technology resources.
Openness to participation in a student‑centered, family‑and faith‑oriented community.
Experience and desire to engage in extracurricular activities, coaching, or moderating clubs and activities.
Education & Experience
Possession of a Nebraska certificate with a 7‑12 or 9‑12 Math endorsement, or ability to obtain appropriate certification by August 1 2025.
High‑school teaching experience preferred but not required.
