Member Experience Associate – Spanish Bilingual Preferred
Join AAA’s Member Experience team as a full‑time Member Experience Associate located in Modesto, CA. The primary responsibility is delivering outstanding service and value to our Members through genuine care, personal service, and meeting needs and expectations across multiple branch locations. The Associate is accountable for achieving individual sales targets and rotating between branches depending on business needs.
Job Overview Member Experience Associates perform fundamental customer interactions, member services, and product sales. They must quickly learn and adjust to multiple product lines, services, and systems to provide seamless service wherever assigned.
Key Responsibilities
Performs customer interactions including member services and product sales.
Accountable for meeting individual sales goals and applying consultative sales techniques.
Promotes AAA products and services to Members to achieve individual and branch goals.
Understands and anticipates Member needs, identifying and recommending solutions.
Adapts solutions to each branch environment and demonstrates flexibility.
Essential Functions
Member Experience and Member Services core functions.
Concierge, DMV/MVD, Auto Travel, Unlicensed Insurance Services, Smart Home Security.
Additional responsibilities may include all seven fundamental skills based on branch need.
Knowledge and Skills
Customer Service: Professional, friendly attitude and problem‑solving resolution.
Sales: Strong sales skills, proven ability to meet or exceed prior goals.
Product Knowledge: Proficient with AAA products, services, and operations.
Technical: Proficient with multiple computer systems and applications.
Operational Excellence: Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures.
Education & Experience / Licenses & Certification
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED.
2–4 years of work experience, with at least 1 year in a sales role; sales experience required.
Backgrounds in insurance, retail, hospitality, service industries, or call centers valued.
Driver’s License required; bonding/fingerprinting and P&C licensing may be required.
Adaptability, willingness to travel, flexibility to cover shifts at multiple locations.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated success working with defined sales standards and goals.
Customer Service experience.
Working Environment / Minimum Physical Requirements
Variety of branch office environments; standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.
Flexible work shifts, availability to travel between locations, and work on Saturdays.
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
Branch Hours and Compensation
Branch Hours: Monday–Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (rotation 8:45 am – 5:45 pm or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm).
Pay: $23.00–$26.95 per hour + commission; expected incentives $270–$3,500 annually.
