Job Details Responsibilities Will Include
Keeping the facility in a sanitary, odorless and pleasant condition for residents/patients and staff.
Sanitize patient rooms, offices, lobbies, and bathrooms using appropriate chemicals and PPE (gloves, masks, gowns).
Perform routine and deep cleaning of floors, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing in various areas. Ability to operate floor care equipment.
Must be able to lift furniture, such as tables and chairs for special assignments.
Pick up trash, diapers and soiled linen, deposit in the proper receptacles.
Pick-up and prepare infectious waste for pick-up by outside company.
Deliver packages and articles when required.
Wash walls and windows inside and out.
Must be able to work in all areas of the facility.
Receive and understand verbal and written assignments in order to carry out tasks successfully.
Follow proper line of communication according to chain of command. Exercise good judgment when accomplishing tasks where resident/patient or employees may be involved.
Ensure the residents'/patients' right to privacy.
Salary Range USD $19.00 - $23.00 /Hr.
Requirements
Must read and write comprehensive English.
Elementary school level acceptable, high school equivalency preferred.
