Position Summary Bartenders at DCA are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and executing the OTG steps of service to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Follow OTG steps of service, standard operating procedures.

Greet guests pleasantly

Walk guests through the OTG ordering and payment system

Highlight menu, food and beverage options, make suggestions based on guest preferences and/or dietary restrictions/allergies

Prepare drinks following OTG recipes and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner

Follow OTG cash handling and cash register policies and procedures

Maintain cleanliness within the restaurants' dining and service stations

Support with moving and installing kegs of beer, CO₂ tanks, and soda gun

Communicate with chefs and managers to ensure food is delivered to guests in a timely manner

Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required

Assist team members as needed

Inform MOD on guest complaints/feedback/inquiries

Monitor and report intoxicated guests to MOD

Inform leadership team of low inventory and equipment issues

Perform additional tasks requested by the OTG leadership team

Qualifications

1-2 years of bartending experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment

Must be at least 18 years of age

Familiarity with preparing classic cocktails, knowledge of spirits

Proficiency with food and beverage service, including beer, wine, and cocktail pairings

Fluent and fully conversational in English

Bartenders must obtain TIPS certification within 90 days of employment

Must obtain ServSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of being hired

Able to lift 35 lbs. in weight

Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch

Must be available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions; must be flexible

Hourly pay rate: $3.60 plus tips.
