Bremen City Schools is currently accepting applications for the position of teacher at Jones Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. Special consideration may be given to candidates who possess Gifted and/or Special Education certification.
Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated General Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
Knowledge of and experience implementing Science of Reading-aligned instructional strategies
Use data to guide instruction and provide timely interventions and enrichment
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to support student success
Integrate technology and innovative practices to enhance learning experiences
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents
Participate in professional learning communities and school improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Gifted endorsement preferred
Valid Georgia Professional Teaching Certificate in the appropriate content area/grade level
Strong knowledge of Georgia Standards of Excellence and effective instructional strategies
Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
