Compensation: $15.00/hourly + $31.60/hour commission
Qualifications: National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) – Certified Personal Trainer American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) – Certified Personal Trainer American Council on Exercise (ACE) – Personal Trainer Certification National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) – Certified Personal Trainer Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Current CPR/AED Certification Participation in continuing education programs
Other Qualifications: Regular and reliable attendance Desire for personal and professional growth Team-oriented Organized and service-minded Professional demeanor Willingness to go above and beyond Efficient and effective communication skills Ability to read and speak English
Key Responsibilities: Design safe and effective fitness programs Guide members through initial and progressive training sessions Ensure proper, current, and safe procedures are used during instruction Inspect all equipment and areas for cleanliness and safety Perform light custodial duties, including wiping down equipment before and after use Enforce all rules and regulations politely and professionally Incorporate safe work practices in all job performance Schedule ongoing training sessions and maximize personal book of business Work closely with Fitness Management
Education Level: High School Diploma or GED required Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of personal training experience
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Daily physical effort includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking
Work Environment: Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts Extended workdays, including weekends and holidays, may be required to support business needs
