Job Description Summary Central Service Dispatcher

Sunbelt Rentals— the fastest growing rental business in North America— is seeking a Central Service Dispatcher. As a Central Service Dispatcher, you will ensure prompt receipt and delivery of equipment from/to customers and other Sunbelt stores in accordance with company and DOT standards.
Responsibilities
Coordinating and ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of Road Mechanics so they can efficiently service equipment
Creating and monitoring road mechanic’s schedules
Creating and monitoring receipt and maintenance schedules for company equipment
Reviewing daily and weekly driver logs in accordance with company and DOT standards
Performing daily truck inspections in accordance with company and DOT standards
Working closely with other store locations to assist them in meeting their customer’s equipment needs
Handling customer complaints professionally to resolve the complaint to the satisfaction of the customer and Sunbelt Rentals
Reporting problems to supervisor in a timely and accurate manner and following up to ensure problem resolution
Providing adequate feedback to the Region or District PC’s regarding the timely delivery and receipt of equipment
Following Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications
High School Education
Working knowledge of the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Customer Service & Dispatch training a plus
At least two years prior knowledge of the applications of various construction/industrial equipment
Working knowledge of the delivery area
Ability to effectively communicate
Physical strength capable of lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, crouching, and kneeling; able to sit or stand for long periods of time

Base Pay Range: $55,200.00 – $75,900.00
