Responsibilities As a Cheese Shop Representative, you will:
Keep the department well stocked, well maintained, and presentable.
Provide superior customer service and assist customers with selections.
Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh cheese on a daily basis while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
Use suggestive selling techniques and basic product knowledge to meet customer needs and build sales.
Perform food safety tasks such as cleaning and sanitizing display cases, operating equipment, and complying with company and store procedures.
Support technical areas as needed, including basic set‑up and clean‑up processes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Reading, writing, planning, and organizing skills.
Knowledge of computer systems and equipment (PC, symbol, scales, label machine).
Understanding of top cheese families and selections.
Ability to function in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Commitment to teamwork: People come first.
Strong sense of how your work affects customers and company success.
Initiative to step up and achieve results.
Background
Minimum age 18.
Completion of Company Orientation and food safety & sanitation training upon hire.
Completion of all necessary department training.
