Duties As a daycare preschool teacher, your duties include creating a safe and stimulating environment for children, planning and implementing age‑appropriate curriculum and activities, promoting social and emotional development, assisting with basic needs such as feeding and diapering, observing and assessing children's progress, and communicating with parents.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Optional: Early childhood education courses or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
Experience working with toddlers or young children.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Background check.
A nurturing and patient personality, and excellent communication skills.
Nice to Haves
Patient and nurturing demeanor.
Excellent communication skills with children and parents.
Creativity to plan engaging activities.
Adaptability to individual child needs.
A sense of humor and love for working with young children.
