Role Overview Dobbs Tire and Auto is seeking a Tire Technician to handle everything from mounting, balancing, and rotating tires to repairing flats and performing minor vehicle maintenance. This position also helps with inventory, inspecting tire casings, and keeping the shop clean and organized.
Responsibilities
Mount & dismount tires; inspect damaged, defective, or flat tires to determine repair feasibility.
Perform tire repairs, balancing, and rotation on a variety of vehicles.
Conduct minor automotive maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, and accessory replacement.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment using approved methods and solvents.
Drive customer vehicles into and out of the service bay and provide shuttle service when needed.
Receive, inventory, and properly store tires based on size and type; stack and organize storage areas accordingly.
Inspect tire casings and accurately categorize them as reusable or scrap.
Deliver tires to other service locations as needed and complete additional tasks or assignments as directed.

Requires adherence to all safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Involves teamwork, reliability, and effective communication to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.

Experience & Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license.
