Ready to dive into an exciting, one-of-a-kind opportunity? At our water park, you'll play a key role in helping us deliver a memorable and positive experience for our guests.

Pay Base hourly pay: $10.50/hr - $13.00/hr depending on certification level.

Screening All candidates must first complete a swim test. Upon application, you will be instructed to schedule your swim test via the provided email.

Positions and base rate

Aquatic Attraction Lifeguard (0-3 ft.): $10.50/hr

Shallow Water Lifeguard (0-5 ft.): $11.50/hr

Lifeguard (0-6 ft+): $13.00/hr

Responsibilities

Maintain patron surveillance on water attractions of varying depth, including waterslide dispatch.

Prevent and respond to guest and ambassador emergencies.

Maintain proficiency in park knowledge, water rescue, CPR/AED, and First Aid.

Attend scheduled in-service training and participate in regular audits.

Maintain cleanliness and quality of Aquatica waterpark and support areas.

Practice safe work habits including PPE usage, lifting, and reporting unsafe situations.

Work as part of a team to increase productivity.

Provide excellent service to guests and ambassadors.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

What it takes to succeed

Must be at least 16 years old.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to stand and walk in extreme weather conditions for prolonged periods.

Must successfully pass a pre-requisite Swim Test for one of the three lifeguard classifications.

Must obtain an American Red Cross CPR/AED Professional Rescuer certification and one of the lifeguard certifications: Aquatic Attraction Lifeguard, Shallow Water Guard, or Lifeguard.

Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be willing to work as part of a team.

Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest services.

Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.

Must successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines.

Must keep calm, sense problem situations and make quick decisions under stressful conditions.
